Jeffrey Reed has created a series of retro concerts, featuring music of the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. The shows are carefully crafted to take audiences on a nostalgic trip back to the music of their youth. Live performances by a rock band, vocalists, and your orchestra, bring the original recordings to life.
Note: Not all songs are included in each show. Show length is tailored to the orchestra’s needs. A limited number of songs are band only and do not have orchestra charts. This is to retain the authenticity, as each orchestration seeks to replicate what is on the original recording.
Typical requirements for each program:
- Instrumentation: 2 flutes (second doubling piccolo), 2 oboes (second doubling English horn), 2 clarinets, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, 4 French horns, 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, 2 percussion, harp, strings (minimum of 8:6:5:4:3)
- Musicians supplied: rock/pop band of eight, including singers, and conductor (Jeffrey Reed)
- A sound engineer may be supplied for an extra fee.
